The report noted that because customers need faster backups to meet shrinking backup windows and shorter recovery times to satisfy service-level objectives, more customers are using disk-based backup solutions. “Disk is increasingly being placed in the data protection path to improve upon existing backup processes.” IDC highlighted SEPATON as an industry leader for several reasons.
